Gravton Motors Launches Quanta, India’s First All-Terrain Electric Motorcycle

Gravton Motors Pvt Ltd, an EV full-stack company and a pioneer in sustainable mobility, launched its flagship electric motorcycle, Quanta, at T-Hub in Hyderabad. The Quanta electric motorcycle comes with a price tag of Rs. 1.2L.
Approved by the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) which makes it ready for commercial use, Quanta is designed and manufactured at Gravton’s state-of-the-art facility in Cherlapally, Hyderabad.
Quanta is the first electric motorcycle in India to integrate Lithium Manganese Iron Phosphate (LMFP) batteries. This breakthrough innovation ensures enhanced battery life, superior thermal stability, and extended range, making Quanta a reliable and efficient choice for urban commuters and adventure enthusiasts alike.

Speaking at the launch event, Parshuram Paka, Founder and CEO of Gravton Motors, said:

We have ensured it has successfully passed the most stringent tests, including all-terrain testing, so that it is suitable for urban and rural commuting alike.”
Quanta electric motorcycle can be charged anywhere using a normal 3-pin socket. With a range of 130 kilometers, the Quanta electric motorcycle consumes 2.7 Unit per charge which makes it extremely cost-effective as compared to the traditional ICE motorcycles.
Quanta owners can use the Quanta APP to experience enhanced riding experience. The App offers a range of advanced features aimed at improving convenience, connectivity, and control. The App allows for monitoring critical parameters like battery health, charge status, and range, ensuring riders stay informed about their bike’s condition. It also enables remote access to certain functionalities, like starting or stopping the bike and locating it via the App enabling anti-theft vehicle tracking. It can also send notifications about potential unauthorized access or tampering, enhancing the vehicle’s safety.
Quanta electric motorcycle has already made a mark for its record-breaking endurance and reliability, as demonstrated by its feat in the Asia Book of Records. It covered the longest journey on an electric motorcycle in India, travelling 4,011 kilometers from Kanyakumari to Khardung La in just 6.5 days. This achievement underscores its exceptional range, all-terrain capability, and durability, showcasing the advanced engineering and innovation behind Gravton Motors’ flagship product.
The first Quanta electric motorcycle was presented by Parshuram Paka, CEO, Gravton Motors to Shri Gangaram, who was his first school teacher and who played a vital role in nurturing and encouraging Parshuram in his early years.
Parshuram Paka, CEO, Gravton Motors also handed over the Quanta all-terrain electric motorcycle to Gravton Motors’ first 10 customers. Gravton Motors plans to annually manufacture 30,000 Quanta electric motorcycles, in its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Cherlapally, to meet the growing demand of electric two-wheelers in India.
The launch of Quanta comes at a time when India is rapidly embracing electric mobility, supported by favourable government policies and growing consumer awareness. With Quanta, Gravton Motors is poised to lead the charge in transforming how India moves.
